I'm finished with the X-files. All 202 episodes viewed (including the movie) and enjoyed. Now I'm ready for the new movie. And a vacation. And probably a shower.

I would have been finished a lot sooner, but Sarah came over to my place for the weekend and it seemed rude to ignore her. We watched "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" instead. Oh, and we also saw "Sex and the City" at the cheap seats.

We also replaced the barbecue. And by "we", I mean my parents. The old one started shooting flames out of the bottom so we figured that it was time to retire it. Now we have a new one that looks and feels like a toy. But at the end of the day, it makes a good steak and that's all I care. Om nom nom.

I'm not really clear on what else happened this weekend. Some boys were yelling outside my window early Sunday morning, I cursed them out, unintentionally waking up everyone else. Otherwise, I guess; lots of sleep, lots of eating, lots of fun pissing off my cat, is the best way to summarize the last couple of days.

Okay, so I'm back from my sushi adventure. Sarah invited me along with Paige and Diana, because she knows how starved I was of human contact and conversation. It was an unenlightening experience, the end result, I have to say is that I am not a sushi fan. Although, I had a great time, I feasted on table talk instead. Food for my soul. Om nom nom.

After that I walked Sarah to the apartment, and then down to Osborne to catch a bus home.

Otherwise, it's been a quiet week. I've been dealing with late night calls from Mackenzie that are beyond annoying. I didn't think it was possible for him to be a pain in the ass from so far away, but he's managing nicely. I'm going to turn my phone on silent tonight because I'm tired of jolting awake and then tossing and turning for the next hour trying to fall back asleep.

I think I'm off to Sarah and Brittany's place tomorrow afternoon, so I have something to look forward to for the weekend.

I was looking forward to having an ice cream cone when I came home, but there was no ice cream left. :( I'm going to have a freezie instead. (Wow, I searched the word "freezie to make sure I was spelling it right and I ended up at Urban Dictionary and stumbled upon two fresh ways to use the word in a sentence. Number three is my favourite.)

I PASSED MY DRIVERS EXAM! (On my first try, I should add.) Actually, I feel like putting up a banner and screaming it from a rooftop: LEX PASSED HER DRIVERS EXAM ON THE FIRST GO.

I'm finally home from kylesghost's extra long, never ending birthday party. I'm so fucking tired. I fell asleep after watching a billion episodes of the IT Crowd, that's when I figured it was time to beg Brittany to drive me home. We left Sarah at Kyle's place, I hope they behave themselves.

I'm still feeling a little stupid though, because I had asked Sarah if I was invited to the birthday and she told me yes. However, when I arrived at the dinner, only two seats were left, and I realized that I might have invited myself along.

Anyway, I'm waiting for Mackenzie to go to work, because then the house will be nice and quit. Speaking of Mackenzie, he bought a car tonight. A yellow, Mazda Protegé

And now I sleep. (If this post sucks, blame it on the Codeine the Doctor gave me for my cold. God, everything is a lot better with Codeine. I love that word 'Codeine'. heh heh, Codeine)

I'm finally home! First thing I did? I dropped my backpack, scooped up Zoe and gave her a cuddle. She makes me happy.



The only reason I'm home is because I had to deliver the papers today. Else, I'd still be somewhere in my Grandmother's house, covered in cobwebs, armed and ready for combat with my trusty vacuum at my side.

Instead of money (because it's just wrong to give your grandchildren money) I earned: Two record players, three records, and a bunch of antique scarves that are absolutely gorgeous.

I'm about to start my commenting-spree. I feel like I've missed out on so much. (I missed my F-list.)

In about thirty minutes, we'll be test driving an '06 Equinox with my Grandmother. It's the only truck that she ever looked at twice. If all goes well, she'll buy it.

Tonight? Was perfect. Oh, Lord it was beautiful. I did have my doubts, but when the band started to play Roadhouse Blues I just started rocking along and all was bliss. Ray Manzarek is God on a keyboard.

Mackenzie has to work at six tomorrow morning. I may cry a little when I have to wake up at five to drive him. (I keep saying that, but it never really works out.)

I'm looking for two storage baskets, a little one that I'm going to use as a drawer and a larger one with a lid that I can use to store all of my scarves. There's also a million other things I'd eventually like to get but I don't have the budget for it. (Most of all, I'd eventually like to replace my desk with a shelving unit.)

I'm pretty excited for tomorrow. First reason being that Doctor Who is starting up again!! And I'm going to be seeing both magicfaye and kink_master! So yes, big plans, thanks for asking.

Since the last time I posted, I've had a name change. I went and had an identity crisis while kylesghost was in Texas. And right under magicfaye's pretty little nose. It happens sometimes.

Oh, the funniest thing I've seen all day was the dinosaur part of the trailer for Meet the Robinsons. It's so fantastic. I found it on Youtube, so that I could share the glory. But it's only the part with the dinosaur.

The last few weeks have been absolutely foul. I'm still sick, even after a week of rest and medication. The medication is horrible, it completely knocks me off my feet. I have trouble keeping my eyes open.

Anyway. I went shopping today. Again, yes. It wasn't as fun as the night before, because I went with my parents. I ran into Shellyna, we girl-talked until we ran out of things to talk about, which was surprisingly fast, and sadly so.

I'm trying to watch The office, but it's so hard to watch. It just makes me uncomfortable.

I wrapped my gifts! Only, I had to use white electrical tape for some of them because I ran out of normal tape, so some look a little weird.

I just read a fic that was Sheppard/Mckay/Lorne/Parrish. It was awesome. And oh so porny.

Today, I was eating and some guys with really shiny sunglasses walked by. The light blinded me for a moment and I bit my finger. Thanks Mr. Shiny Glasses, for x-mas, I'll have teeth marks on my index finger. Just what I wanted. How did you know?

There's no real reason for me to update. I just wanted to use my Teyla icon. She's so purdy.

Oh, and thank you Torchwood, I've now seen much more Burn Gorman that I ever wanted to. I was a little disappointed with Out of time. I thought Olivia Hallinan as Emma was too stiff, and a little fake. It wasn't far from her character in Sugar Rush at all. I did love the market scene, it was so cute. "Bananas!"

And I wanted another Jack and Ianto scene.
